Oct 2002 Blog of the Month!

| | Comments (0)

Was looking around for good blogs to read this afternoon when i stumbled across this month's Blog of the Month: Not You, The Other One.

Written by a talented young lady, Sarah, the blog is full of insightful moments in the mind of a twenty-something (i think) woman living in the UK. Certainly, being from Asia, it was an education for me to read it; time flew by and i enjoyed myself immensely. For these reasons, i've decided that it will be this month's VOI Blog of the Month!

Do yourself a favour and take a look.

The following was taken from "Not You, The Other One". It describes the author.

--------------------------------------------------

"Sarah, was born in North-East England, and apart from a three-year stint studying in Edinburgh, still lives there. Having graduated with a degree and no experiance, she currently undertakes voluntary conservation work, with beer and cigarettes funded by the lovely people at the local Real Ale pub, for whom she works.

In her spare time, she has often been seen wandering aimlessly around various moors and ruins in Northumberland, smoking roll-ups and being interested in things no-one else is.

Other than the outdoors, free time is also occupied by sitting on the internet for hours.

Her personal life is a bit empty at the minute, but in a quiet and nice way. Yes, she's gay, but that's completely irrelevant if you've been single for two years and now no longer know any queer people in the local area. Or, in fact, if when you don't know anybody in the local area full stop.

Her future is pretty much fixed for the next 6 months; after then she should have graduated from the university of life, and may even find a Proper Job. Whatever that is. "
