Intel: Centrino

The "new Centrino chip":http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/Intel/Centrino/ is Intel's foray into the wireless market. With wireless capabilities built-in, the chip allows for a user to access wireless networks without the use of any further hardware. Coupled with some "pretty amazing power-saving technologies":http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/Intel/Centrino/page12.htm, this makes for a pretty darned efficient mobile chip.

What makes it even more cool is that "Malaysians were responsible for a key component":http://www.theedgedaily.com/article.cfm?id=21447 of the Centrino, the ICH4M (God knows what that stands for). Without it, the Centrino wouldn't be possible. Malaysia Boleh! :)
