I've made arrangements for a private room to be used for our taste test at "Rahsia":http://www.rahsia-kl.com, a very good restaurant in the heart of KL. For those who've never heard or been to this restaurant, you can check it out on its website:
You will also find "a location map to the restaurant there":http://www.rahsia-kl.com/location.htm.
Below are details of the taste test:
Date: 21 October 2003 (Tuesday)
Time: 8.30 - 11.30 pm
Venue: Rahsia Bistro and Bar, 13 Jalan Damai, KL
I've booked a room under my name with a max capacity of 15 people. So far, 8 people have confirmed their attendance. Please let me know if you would like to attend. Places for the taste test will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
The tentative program for the taste test are as follows:
8.30 pm : Briefing on the taste test & order of dinner (dinner will not be sponsored; ala carte)
8.45 pm : Arrival of starter & 1st cigar tasting (a short corona or robusto will be offered)
9.30 pm : Main Course
10.00 pm : Dessert & 2nd cigar tasting (a torpedo or churchill will be offered)
11.15 pm : Feedback session & completion of survey forms
At the end of the taste test, i will reveal the origins of the cigar. I will also have a little surprise for everyone!
I received my personal sample of the cigars today, and i smoked one this evening. Initial impressions are favourable. Without revealing too much or biasing your opinion, i can assure you that the evening will be an enjoyable one for all.
