Go OWEN Go!!!

Did you see that strike?! Michael Owen, in the 68th minute of a tense match against the iron men of Blackburn, made a standing leap any salmon would have been proud of -- perfectly timed, he connected with the flighted left wing cross from N'Zogbia (who himself scored a cool around-the-keeper goal late on), and sent the ball crashing into the net. The goal was so sudden, so clinical that by the time the Blackburn keeper, Friedel, dived to his right to try and stop the shot, the ball had already passed him. Oh what a goal!
